Why I do this

I believe transformation sticks when it is embodied, playful and honest. My work is about helping you find that steadier system so clarity and aliveness become your norm.

Following a 15 year corporate career and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh, I co-founded TurnON Britain, a company dedicated to personal growth. I spent 6 years living a very spiritually monastic lifestyle, full of practices based in connection and relating.

I am a TEDx Speaker (‘Dare to be Sensitive”) and a co-author of the book, “Being Fine: The other ‘F’ word men use”.

Brought up in an environment that valued “education, success, achievement, a good career, wealth, and family,” I spent 15 years successfully striving towards them all, including a MBA and an 11 year relationship that ended in divorce, only to discover that I was only happy on the surface while disconnected underneath.

I committed myself to mastery of a new paradigm of relationships, which included how to be authentic, vulnerable, and in approval of the so-called negative aspects of my personality.

I love working with people on becoming self-aware, working with their shadow, creating ever-evolving relationships and lives fuelled by connection and desire.

Our philosophy

Liberation in practice

Nibana is inspired by Buddhist and Hindu traditions. We translate timeless ideas into practical coaching that builds a steadier nervous system, clearer choices, and more aliveness.

In the eastern traditions, liberation is lived, not merely understood. To move toward freedom we cultivate integrity (dharma), meaningful creation (artha), and intimacy with life (kāma). In practice, that means attention, embodiment, and play.

Nibana is the Pali translation of the word Nirvana, which in Hinduism is also referred to as Moksha - which means Liberation or Bliss

To attain Liberation or ultimate Bliss, we have to have freedom in three areas in life:

  • Kama - which is Intimacy, desire, eros, sensuality, passion, enjoyment and emotional fulfilment
  • Artha - a life of purpose, meaning, essence and material prosperity
  • Dharma - our value system and the integrity with which we live our lives and our impact on the people and our environment

"It is said that just like money is the currency in our external world, attention is the currency in our internal world. Whatever we put our attention on expands"

Through our own journey of personal growth, we have come to discover that to cultivate attention and presence, we have to:

  • Be connected to our body
  • Have congruence between our mind and body
  • Integrate our shadow; And
  • Find our intrinsic value, self-worth and self-love

When we are able to do that, we are able to find our own blueprint, deep joy, fulfilment, and play in our lives and start to live from that place. We start to pour it out and transmit it to everyone and everything because we are so full of joy and gratitude that the only way to keep it is to share it with others.

Kāma

Intimacy, desire, eros, sensuality - emotional fulfillment that enlivens your days.

Artha

Purpose and meaningful creation- bringing value to the world with clarity.

Dharma

Living with integrity - alignment between what matters and how you act.

Ariane Cole
Accountant & Business Coach

Kapil gave me the tools and frameworks that helped me recognise my self-limiting beliefs and patterns. His advice and encouragement has been invaluable in my personal growth.

Bhavesh Dhaka
Consultant and Entrepreneur

Kapil is a wonderful teacher. He’s got a playful, penetrative presence in the front of them room. His ability lies in the fact that he’s comfortable discussing the taboo, sex and the shadow, which gives permission to everyone else to explore these topics too. His fierce love for teaching a path of awakening and personal responsibility shines through everything he says. And he always keeps the tone engaging and fun, so that his teachings can be easily absorbed. I highly recommend attending his classes and workshops, as they’ve changed my life

I never thought that I would need a “coach” when Kapil was recommended to me yet now I have a better understanding of my fears, more clarity around my desires, and certainty about the life that I want to live. For that, I’m truly grateful. I would highly recommend Kapil

Christopher Thomas

I reached out to Kapil as I was looking for some help with my career change. After one call, we got to the centre of my fear and my motivation behind leaving my job. But even more powerfully, Kapil helped me put into motion the bold action needed to make the leap. I left my job a few months later and haven’t looked back!

Frequently asked questions

What makes Nibana different from typical life coaching?

Our coaching methodology is experiential. We combine clear, honest conversation with embodied practice. You’ll leave each session with one or two practices, not just insights, so that you can integrate the insights into your life. Over weeks, those reps compound into steadier energy, clearer choices, and visible results.

Who is Nibana a great fit for - and who isn’t?

Great fit: founders, leaders, managers, creatives, and couples who are ready to do real work, try practices between sessions, and want change that lasts.
Not a fit: if you want quick hacks without personal responsibility, or you’re seeking clinical treatment (we’ll refer you to the right support). If you’re unsure, book a free 20-min call to check fit.

Do you work online, in person, or both?

Most coaching is on Zoom with clients across the UK, Europe, US and Asia. Limited in-person intensives and workshops are available by request. If time zones are tricky, we’ll find a cadence that works.

How do we measure progress?

We define outcomes up front and track them with short check-ins and specific behaviours. Expect qualitative shifts in weeks and compounding results over a few months.

Is the approach the same for Men’s, Relationship, and Executive Coaching?

The framework is shared (identity work, inner skills, repeatable practices, Life as Play) but application is bespoke: e.g., conflict repair and polarity for couples, boundaries and desire-lead life for leaders, or masculine-feminine dynamics and core-beliefs for men’s work.

Who will I work with? Is there a waitlist?

You’ll work directly with Kapil (Founder & Coach). We keep a small, high-touch roster; at times there’s a short waitlist. If timing matters, contact us and we’ll share current availability.

Do you run workshops for teams or private groups?

Yes. We deliver focused workshops (attention & energy management, difficult conversations, embodied leadership) and private intensives for couples or founders. Get in touch with your context and desired outcome.
